“Passe la 3ème !” is a 9-month entrepreneurial programme designed to help people living in precarity get their ideas off the ground. Its three key focuses are entrepreneurialism, digital technology and personal development, all of which are used to help people restore their self-confidence. The project aims to emancipate beneficiaries by improving their skills as a way of getting them back into work and earning a living. The programme has a solid network of partners and is raising service users’ awareness of both new ways of working and long-term assets.
We have supported “Passe la 3ème!” since its launch in 2018 as we want to encourage entrepreneurship in Marseille. In 2019 and in 2020, we supported the development of the programme to help it take root in the wider landscape of professional reintegration programmes.
Funding: €8,860 in 2017-2018 / €10,720 in 2018-2019 / €13,000 in 2019-2020

Being included in the Passe la 3ème ! scheme gave me the chance to explore all the different angles of entrepreneurship. The teaching I got at workshops, the individual follow-up support and all the help the mentors gave helped me make my project a reality.
Our objective was to share our skills and experience, and simply to reassure jobseekers looking to set up a business by listening to them with warmth and sympathy. We had some really great conversations and I loved meeting my mentee, who is soon going to realise her dream of creating and selling her own clothing range.
